Robert LaSardo - The Mule, Nip/Tuck, Of the Devil (2022) #video

He’s one of the hardest-working names in the industry, and he’s covered extensively in tattoos. Some readers might be surprised to know that he went to some of the most prestigious acting schools in the world! His name is Robert LaSardo, and he’s a soft-spoken badass.

Speaking with Robert was a lifelong dream as his portrayal of Escobar Gallardo was one of the few things that kept me company during surgery recovery back in 2009. Occasionally he’d pop back into my life with a good performance here and there, but I’ll always remember the Nip/Tuck times fondly.

With Of the Devil, LaSardo learned an entire extinct language just to add more credibility to his character and performance. As I mentioned above, he’s as dedicated as they come. While he doesn’t have as much screen time as I’d have liked, he still adds overall value to the film, and him being top-billed makes that much more sense because of which.

Robert LaSardo makes any film better, and with Of the Devil, he continues the tradition. Vernon Wells also shows up for a second, but if you blink, you miss him. In my opinion, Eileen Deitz steals the show, so at the very least you have her and LaSardo to look out for. Check out Of the Devil when it summons up a digital release on August 9 via Uncork’d Entertainment.
